Celebrating festivals with BSF and Army
At Dharma Shakti, we salute the BSF and Army soldiers who stay away from their families to protect us. Thus, to make them feel special and as a token of appreciation for all that they do for our country, we celebrate festivals with them.
We call BSF and Army personals our family and celebrate various festivities with them. As soldiers seldom get a chance to go home during festivities, we make sure they feel at home.
Gaushalas
Since ancient times, cow has been a symbol of wealth in India. Cows are worshipped in Indian households, yet some people choose to kill them. At Dharma Shakti, we discourage animal slaughtering, particularly cows. We support and promote gaushalas.
We are an advocate of using eco-friendly material to support and sustain our environment as well as help the gaushalas. Cow dung is often used to make Deepak (lamps) which further work as dhoop after the oil is used up. Come and be a part of our endeavour.
Animal rights
We believe that “Animals life is worth more than just a dish on your table.” At Dharma Shakti, we work on a variety of issues including animal rights, cruel killing of animals, and preventing the abuse of animals in any way.
It’s time we stop eating meat, wearing leather, buying pets, and going to circuses and zoos. Innocent animals are starved, killed, or injured in the process. Stop for a second and consider the impact our actions have on these innocent animals. Just like us, these animals deserve to live free from pain, exploitation, and sufferings. Value animals. Value their lives.
Insight to Yoga – Reconnect With Your Soul
At Dharma Shakti India, we conduct yoga camps regularly to help people get an insight into yoga and connect with their soul. It is ideal for anyone who wants to experience inner peace and enjoy the yoga way of life. The yoga camp covers asanas, kriyas, pranayams, recreation, relaxation, and meditation.
Serving the Community – Medical camp
As a part of our effort to make basic healthcare easily approachable, Dharma Shakti India organizes medical camps at regular intervals. The medical camps are set up with an aim to bring awareness among deprived sections of the society who have negligible access to basic healthcare.
These camps make sure underprivileged people get access to right medical advice, medicines, surgery, or any specialized medical treatment which is the need of the hour. A medical camp is often seen as a life-saving program which serves people belonging to the poor community. The main objective of the medical camps is to raise awareness against various diseases and help people deal with communicable and non-communicable diseases.
Sports Tournaments
At regular intervals, we organize sports events to encourage the youth to take up a healthy lifestyle. We understand that physical activity is important for the overall development of children as it fosters their physical, emotional, and social well being.
Till date, Dharma Shakti has organized cricket tournaments, marathons, and Volleyball championships. In the future, we plan to organize various tournaments and marathons to increase public awareness and raise money for a cause we all believe in.
