(Jammu) – Dharma Shakti India organized a Tree Plantation Drive in the month of August. This month long tree plantation drive is organized with an aim to plant more than 10,000 saplings; however, within the first 15 days the target was achieved.

Air pollution is becoming a serious problem and Dharma Shakti India organized the tree plantation drive to increase awareness among people. In some parts of the country, it has even become difficult to breathe; therefore, planting more trees is the need of the hour.

Dharma Shakti India’s mission is to plant more trees to save the earth. During the drive, people volunteer and pledge to plant 35 saplings each in the Bishan Area, Jammu. The plantation drive was carried out at various schools, hospitals, BSF posts, temples, cremation grounds, block development offices, tehsils and on the edges of the road. Volunteers pledged to make earth a happy place again.

This tree plantation drive helped bring together thousands of people who want to contribute to a noble cause but couldn’t find a platform. Dharma Shakti India gave them a chance to connect with like-minded people and spread the word.

Global warming and climate changes are becoming prominent. Rather than being a choice, planting more trees has become a necessity. This was a noble initiative taken by Dharma Shakti India. We hope other people take notice and contribute their part to save our planet.

Let’s come together and pledge to plant more trees to save our environment.
